Hey, it's... technically an hour until April but I didn't want to lose my stuff so I sent the April Fool's update early!

The Authorities have invited Mesmerize and FRIED MEME to check out something new and special! It's a new subtype of Mechanix, the Guards! Read more at the hub!

I've actually wanted to release these since the first Robot Uprising so it's exciting to have them out now!

The event has the usual scavenger hunt, a prompt, and some bonus eggs if you do a couple specific things in April! Check it out! There's also a raffle, with tickets hidden somewhere (it's a couple of the eggs). The raffle is for The Fool, a tarot-themed Guard:

You can get up to two tickets for the raffle!

Guards have a different base than regular Mechanix but can otherwise be crafted normally, with a pelt and a chip (chip actually optional, if you don't use a chip you get the Guard Dog chip skill for free). The base can be obtained through Crafting, Scientific Analysis, and the Chasm Egg Shop!

OH ALSO - The Dwarf Primal Illusionate-Glass Core is finally up! It's in the Chasm Egg shop and the Karma shop! Enjoy your small alt forms!

As a reminder, Anarchisme will be undergoing top surgery on April 5th and so some things will be temporarily slow after that point. No clue how long recovery will be but Anar will probably be bored without rolling things.

A figure stalked through the grasses. Small enough to stay low in the tall stalks, the hunter made their way towards the noise ahead of them. The clamor, the din. They didn't know what lay in store for them. They didn't know what watched them in the shadows beneath the trees. Slowly, the beast dodged twigs and dead leaves, debris left over from the autumn past. Slowly, they sought their target. Quickly, they pounced.

"Prairie!" Serritana's voice rang out. "No! Absolutely not! Get down!"

The Dwarf Primal, called out by name, sat innocently on the flower-seller's shelves, a bouquet stowed neatly in their mouth.. The Wandering Willow stood, tapping her foot, pointing at the stall firmly. Clearly she wanted it back, and they had been caught. The mighty hunter opened their mouth unceremoniously, dropping the flowers back to the stall, before slinking off without a word, looking over their shoulder again at the colorful display.

They would be back.

Spring Changelog

• This Spring's new starter is Prairie, the little thief that considers themself a hunter! They have two new genes for us!
• New gene: Xenolith, literally just rocks skypunch (Name suggested by pokeapache , but I kind of took the name and did something different with it instead of the original idea, sorry!)
• New gene: Brindle, based on the marking in dogs and horses. (Suggested by iiixkitsunexiii )
• There's a hub on dA as usual!
• The seasonal Raid has rolled over, and another strange creature from the Couloir has appeared - the Warreneater. what if fox but long
• I FINALLY GOT THE APPAREL OUT ON TIME IM SO SORRY ITS BEEN SO LONG SINCE THIS.

THIS MAY BE AN IMPORTANT NOTE FOR UPCOMING ROLLS: Unless something goes wrong, I (Anarchisme) am getting top surgery on April 5th. This could possibly slow down rolls while I recover, especially since this is during the April Fool's event, which as some of you know is absolutely our best event. I'll do my best to be here when I can but like I might need to chill. Sorry in advance!

First, some quick Multispecies news - the Semi/MYO Sale will be ending soon, on December 5th! If you have anything you still want to get, check that out!

Due to a worrying ?glitch? on dA that temporarily disabled multiple links in comments (they're back now), more things have been moved to Nsk Net/Chasmhome.

• All Story Modes are now on Nsk Net!
• The Adoption Center has been fully ported to Chasmhome! A Getting Started page will be made eventually because this page needs more visibility on it, and so do some other things like the free gifts. I'm just not sure how to word a Getting Started page so I'll be consulting my fellow admins on how to do it.
• The Use Items page will be ported soon, but I need to figure out what I'm doing with Free Parking/test raffles for it, figure out if B-NOMALIES need to be on the Use Items page or if Seraph's covers everything, and so on.
• Design Approval is staying on dA on this time unless something breaks because I really don't want to port all genos into MYOs. that's uh that's genuinely the reason

I've honestly been meaning to do this for a while and this just kind of sped me up a bit v:

B-NOMALY sales are now conducted exclusively through the B-NOM sales thread and not on dA! Adoptable posts will go up on dA and Weasyl (if posted by Anar and not a guest artist, guest artists can post wherever) The S-OLSTICE B-NOMs for this year are starting to go up today, so keep an eye out for bunes!

It's the night before Halloween, and we have a little treat for you!

A Euphoria wish was made for a Halloween treat for everyone! As a result, a Marshmallow, Hard Candy, Milk Chocolate, Dark Chocolate, and White Chocolate have been distributed to all users! Enjoy the candy, and if you want more, the Treat for Trick barter is still open and accepting rocks!

Additionally, a Lucida wish caused an item to be released off the to-do list without item art! The Picnic Basket item (originally suggested by Lucifers-Law-Inc on dA) is a lootbox that drops food items that grant permanent stats! It'll drop 5 of them at a time. The Picnic Basket can be created through crafting! Usually crafting items have item art when they launch, but there was kind of nothing else to grant this wish better than the Picnic Basket, so uh, it launched early, haha.
