• As you can tell from the above, Anarchie will be AFK for a bit due to recovering from surgery. I'm going to be bored and won't be gone long.
• My computer is mostly fine and needs the fan repaired, that won't be a major time sink. It's going in for repairs while I'm in for repairs to sync up timing. I'm not going in for repairs it's gender based this is a bad joke...
• PRIDE'S ACTUAL DEADLINE, FINALLY, SINCE IT WAS EXTENDED TO "WHEN THE HIATUS ENDS", IS SET TO SEPTEMBER 15TH. This should be long enough for surgical recovery? If something goes wrong I'll update. If you have very late Pride ideas go ahead and send them in. Pride all year. There is an actual idea for Pride All Year, setting it to an optional RXX Prompt Library item in the off season, but if you actually want it in the current collab set, this is the deadline.
  The Pride collaborations have been archived on Toyhouse, easiest found under Roy's character page.
• A list of past events is in progress! I've been noticing that lore is absolutely scattered nonsensically across dA and Lorekeeper and Nsk Net and I'm trying to fix that now. I've almost got everything from dA so far, it's up to Cat Country.
• I need to finish figuring things out fully, and write up a full post, but the Ketixi page has been heavily updated with where to post things - there'll be a full update on this but in the meantime, there's more info for you, the players.
• IF YOU HAVE HAD ANY ISSUES WITH VERIFICATION, SIGNUP, OR ANYTHING SIMILAR, COULD YOU PLEASE TRY AGAIN AND LET ME KNOW IF IT WORKS? Our email service was off and I believe I've fixed it. I'm very sorry!
• The Sales tab has been hidden due to trying to avoid hassle with payment processors. It is extremely unlikely that Having Sales Mentioned On The Site would be a problem but with how often the goalposts are moved on this, and with how it was mentioned that this could possibly be an issue if people were absolutely desperate to find one, I'm just going to turn sales off? I don't know just don't pay me on Chasmhome? ???
• In the meantime, sales are going to be moved to Toyhouse and likely Ko-Fi, and will likely be advertised on the galleries that the adoptables are posted on. Apologies if this is annoying, I am intending to keep communications open on as many sites as possible if I'm not using Chasmhome for it. I don't know just pay me where it's someone else's problem. This is so weird. I'm not going to hold back on saying that.

Hey, I'm sorry if this sounds alarming, but I have to take a soft hiatus, in general - I'm going to be on social media and discord less while I do this. The thing is, by soft hiatus I mean soft, I'll be checking in and doing rolls, and I kind of hope that being on social media less will actually give me more time for rolls, so calling it a hiatus might sound weird. I'll just be less personally available is the thing, but I'll be around. I'm really sorry for the trouble.

No Fireworks Mechanix this year, sorry, it isn't a funny joke.

Since the fireworks mechanix is for Meningitis Survival Day, (which is to say, I got viral meningitis on July 4th 11 years ago now and I guess I might be still alive depending on your definition?) all users can take a second claim of the free first aid kit as a small thing. If you send in a claim and it's noticed on the lorekeeper you haven't put in one before, you'll get 2. The end date on newbies getting 2 is err, when I start forgetting to put it as two myself. I'll be putting it as 2 without it being mentioned for as long as I can remember.

Anareizh is also free for the entire month of July rather than just once.
I will put this on his shrine later today - I just noticed that the eggs are still up and I really thought I took those down, I apologize!

Listen, I know that this is an alternate version of a usual yearly thing to be a bit less silly about it but be safe, all. We care about you here.

Summer Changelog

• LIKE WINTER, We do not have a starter or new genes this rollover. Sorry! We are chilling for a bit.
• A quick note on the event prompts: The Wave Rider and Beat the Heat event are copied from the original Summer 2018 Festival. This was to stay on theme with the Winter event.
• The seasonal Raid has rolled over. ..............mymbig (: hehe. In all seriousness, I hope this is interesting enough Couloir/Chasm lore for a bit. There is a Pride skin on the companions page for the Mumbler, and the Watcher got its Green Man and Jack Frost skins!

Bonus Changelog (multispecies)

• Pride has been extended two weeks because I said I might in the discord, so you can have it. (:
• B-NOMALY tokens have been massively increased! Most things were doubled, a couple of bonuses were tripled or more, gift art and commissions were combined and upped to 100 for both artist and recipient. One of the examples in token calc was doubled from 25 to 50 as a result, one of them went from 65 to 285.
• You can resubmit ANY AND ALL B-NOMALY ART to token calculation due to this change. You do not have to have the original calculation refunded.
• Tokens are now going to be calculated WITH prompt submission instead of submitting them separately, for speed. Sorry for making this a hassle before, genuinely.
• There's now a Toyhou.se for Chasmhome. This isn't intended to replace prompts here in any way, just to hold characters if desired! I'm working on getting NPCs up on my page, please feel free to put any art including them under their profile if you want to, it's optional but perfectly fine!
• There's a Bluesky presence as well, when I remember I have that. (:

Roy's "back", it's June, time to love yourself and everybody else (tell your friends?) It's Pride Month!

Pride Blends will be rarely showing up in any loot-dropping activities all month! And, of course, we have events!

The usual group collab is listed on the Hub, as is the link to the Lounge!

If you need to be anonymous for any reason (eg harassment) and can't submit normally but still want credit and goods, please feel free to DM an admin. We can figure something out for you. This hasn't been an issue in recent years as far as we've heard from members, but we still want you to know that it's absolutely fine to do.

As an unofficial event, please feel free to contact Anarchie over Discord if you want to be part of an extra, more cathartic collab, if that would be something that's useful to you. This is not replacing the main event because we wanted to still give people a space to step away from drama and celebrate, BUT it will give out EXP/tokens in the same style if done.

Anarchie currently has suggested the prompts of "a march or demonstration" or "starting a punk rock band" for this, and is taking suggestions.

Small notes (upcoming changes):

• Ketixi/KETU-NOMALY design approvals are being fixed up for relaunch and are almost done! (The final draft is in talks but I might need to fix up something, full transparency.) Thank you for your patience and I'm sorry for the trouble! Anything that got stuck in design approval will be grabbed!
• B-NOM tokens are getting retouched soon to be a bit easier to work with so maybe wait a moment before putting art in for tokens! (: Rixixi EXP may get touched up slightly as well, but Training Mode has already been fixed up, so that will get altered the least.
• Several little tweaks to existing genes - nothing that would change the legality of existing imports, just know that several suggestions were written down and are likely to be implemented as soon as I sketch up an example. (:
• Aex-specific prompts, I've been meaning to write these down, oh my goodness.

Important notice for the people who keep going into faery circles (get out of there???)

Hello! By request, Chasm Fae have been separated as their own thing from iiixkitsunexiii and pawstepsinthesnow 's Awakened fae! The current Chasm Fae information is HERE!  You should probably check it out if you have a Chasm Fae or have interest in the lore - the lore is the thing that changed the most, along with not having the wing requirements that were very specific to Awakened! Everything else is more subtle, as both species have a large amount of variety to them.
As usual, do not bother anyone about this, this was a fully willing split on both ends and it was pretty fun to add a mycelial network to everything. We are keeping Chasm Fae chasm-relevant with admin departure and not using someone else's thing.

Chasm Fae made with Fairy Circles going forward, or just made as the open species, should be made with the current lore, as Awakened are somebody else's thing that isn't Chasm-relevant! Thanks for understanding!

If you already have an Awakened fae made before 2025, you CAN keep them the same and keep them as an Awakened, grandfathered in. (Officially ruled as such by Kitsu and Sian.) You can also keep your fae the same and move them to Chasm Fae lore if the design would fit with very little tinkering or no tinkering (see above note about this being most heavily a lore change). However, if you want to change your Fae's design due to the update, you can do that for free by commenting on this news post with the fullsize image of the Chasm Fae form. If you want to update the Rixixi/B-NOMALY/Aex form with it, you can go ahead and link that as well.
Updated Fae must be Chasm Fae and not Awakened!

Other small changes to Chasm Fae that might not be noticed right away:

• It's spelled Fairy Circle in this version, for genuinely no reason other than I habitually spell it that way and want to make less typos... (:
• Aexent can have a Fairy Circle applied. Why? I don't know,  just, you can do that now.
• Probably easier noticed but just in case, the list of Tell traits was changed up a bit!
• And on the contrary, literally no one would notice this but me, but in the images section, the notes are formatted as "Fairy Circle: [myth source]" in place of "Faery Circle: Chasm Fae", and if I don't know the myth source it'll probably just be Chasm Fae.

...You can also ask for Just The Spelling/Formatting to be updated and nothing else, if literally anyone but me cares about that (hehe), because I only changed the format on the starters and on Magpie. Note that the formatting update is meant to be an indicator that it's a Chasm Fae so like maybe don't do that on an Awakened it might not make sense?

We're still picking up from hiatus, so I hope you don't mind that this April is pretty chill! It's still got the scavenger hunt (already up! you may have seen an egg) and the usual bonus prompts that are annual, but other than that there's just a raffle commemmorating some of the releases from previous years!

To enter, you can select a raffle ticket for Mumbling Heights (left) or Do Androids Dream Of Astroturf Mechanix (right) on ANY egg claim. One raffle ticket per claim, but you can claim up to 8 tickets per person - you can dump all your tickets into one Ixi/Mechanix or split them up, whichever you want! There's a bit more details on the hub on their items.

And speaking of cleaning up from hiatus, changelog:

• There is now a Temporary Design Approval Page, for genos not ported to MYOs yet. It's limited to 1/day currently, so that I can continue porting the genos to MYOs once I finish spring cleaning. I am just so tired of having that on hold but it was on hold so that the queue wouldn't go wild, so I hope you don't mind the limit for now! Thanks!
• Item Use prompt moved to site because uh I may have been intending to do that for ages now lol
• Rixixi and B-NOMALIES are officially marked as Semi-Open on their info pages, and the Chasm-Connected Bestiary, which I swear I fixed the images on before and I guess I have to do again? oh boy. Aexent were already marked as Semi-Open but their page now makes it clearer that it's about the masterlist. As for Ixi and B-NOMS, you can make them as characters, you just need a geno/MYO for actual gameplay. I've been fine with this for a long time and said as such, I'm just making it official.
  KETIXI AND K-NOMS ARE STILL CLOSED DUE TO HYBRIDIZATION SORRY. IF I GET MORE SPECIFIC RULES FROM MOON I'LL PUT 'EM ON THE KETIXI PAGE.
• Training Mode EXP was doubled or tripled across the board. Rixixi as an ARPG is meant to reward both activities and random drawings and meanwhile I've had extreme burnout due to only doing activities in ARPGs for years, and trying to get to the point where I could get one out a day. look just have fun ok. is only game.
  "doesnt this wildly overpower roothornes" yes. it's fine. you still have to do story modes i'm not removing that, i just intend to add more options for it to make it more fun.

• Veluchasm on pause due to no longer having matching admins with Ketucari. In talks with Ketucari admins on how to make things work as things stand, but events are on hold at current, and what we are working on is making uploads and activities still functional in the meantime. I'm really sorry for the delay.
• Please do not bother any previous Chasmhome + Ketucari admins about this. This is not intended as public drama for entertainment. The reason this news was so delayed going up from the discord version was I was not sure how to phrase it, and I'm sorry for that.
• Site has been successfully transferred between staff. There may be delays due to figuring out code. Please let me know if there's an issue!
• APIs used to attach chasmhome logins to other sites have been updated. If there's any bugs with that, please let us know, I probably just copied the code wrong.
• Twitter is no longer a link used on Chasmhome due to possible security and general Twitter issues. Sorry if you were using it, I was told no one used it as a primary so I hope that was correct?
• Pride is on the Wayback Machine, successfully!
• Most of the masterlist is on the Wayback machine and this will be retouched after upload sessions if possible.

• Literally going into the queue within the next few days now that the site status is confirmed stable. Sorry that I didn't before. Site was uh. Somewhere. Wasn't sure how somewhere.
• Working on writing the story for the event. Might not have the staff for an event right now but I at least want the story written??
• Figuring out how to reopen design approvals in a manageable way while still uploading genos to the site. Tired of having them closed. Might just make a temp page to drop things off at with a reasonable limit to not cause psychic damage. Feel free to leave feedback on that here.
• Genuinely might make Rixixi and B-NOMALIES semi-open, allowing them to be open outside of the game setting and requiring a geno/MYO to play the game. This is mostly due to me keeping having medical issues. I mean if I'm going to be unavailable a lot I should still let people play with them. It's under consideration. Again, feel free to leave feedback.
