Traits

Lop Ears (+X-LopE) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

Long ears that flop down by default. Some Ixi can hold them up to listen in better, but at rest they flop back down.

  • Markings in the area can extend to this mutation.

Presentation with Contradicting Mutations:

Lop Ears and Perky Ears:

When Lop and Perky Ears both present in the same geno, any of the following approaches can be taken:

-Both ear types appear at once, the Rixixi has four ears whether or not they have the Split Ear mutation.

-The Rixixi can have long ears with a semi-pricked or button ear shape.  Let 'em stick up and flop forward a bit.
There currently is not a design pack for this, and would need to be custom-made. This would not require a mutation station.

-The Rixixi can have one ear up and one ear down.

Whip Tail (X-WhipT) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

A long tail with a tuft of fur at the end.

  • The Fur Tuft can be any color lighter or darker than the base coat, can be any marking color on the Rixixi, can be any natural skin tone color, or can be any color on the base coat swatch.
  • Markings in the area can extend to this mutation.

Presentation with Contradicting Mutations:

Multiple Tail Mutations:

When multiple tail mutations present in the same geno without Multi Tail, any of the following approaches can be taken:

-The tails can be edited so that they all appear at once. As long as the tails appear at roughly their original size and shape, no Mutation Station is required. Lenience is given for size/shape here, as tails may need to be shrunk to better show the other tails, etc.

-Parts of the tails can be taken and pieced together into one tail - eg. Mackerel's fins on a Whip Tail, a Tail Spike on a Bushy Tail, etc. A mutation station is only required here for heavy customization.

-One tail can show, leaving other tails in the geno as invisible carriers. All tails in the geno can still pass in breeding, but they do not have to show in the design if there's just too many tails to work with.

Perky Ears (X-PerkE) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

Long, perky ears!

  • Markings in the area can extend to this mutation.

-Both ear types appear at once, the Rixixi has four ears whether or not they have the Split Ear mutation.

Pouch (+X-Pou) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

A marsupial-like pouch. Fairly durable.

  • Pouch is a lineart edit - markings work normally underneath it.
  • As it is incredibly easy for Pouch to be covered up by other mutations, especially on the Primal base, it is completely within reason to move the lines around to keep them visible.

Stylist Ears (+X-Style) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

Tufts of hair on the tips of the Ixi's ears. Many like to decorate them.

  • The Fur Tuft can be any color lighter or darker than the base coat, can be any marking color on the Rixixi, can be any natural skin tone color, or can be any color on the base coat swatch.
  • Markings in the area can extend to this mutation.

Tongue Teeth (+X-TnTth) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

A barbed tongue.

  • May be the color of the Rixixi's existing teeth, or the color of the gums/tongue.
  • Comes with an optional shine layer, and can freely have shading added!

Triple Snooter (X-Snoot) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

Three pairs of nostrils! Take time to smell the roses.

  • Triple Snooter is a lineart edit - markings work normally underneath it.
  • Lines can be moved around slightly to line up better with other mutations. Heavy lineart customization requires a Mutation Station.
  • A Mutation Station can be used on Triple Snooter for alternate nostril positions, such as something like a snake's pit organs.

Rat Tail (+Rat) (Common)

Species: Rixixi

There's very little fur on this long, thin tail!

  • Can be any color lighter or darker than the base coat, can be any marking color on the Rixixi, can be any natural skin tone color, or can be any color on the base coat swatch.
  • Markings in the area can extend to this mutation.

Cottontail (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Tail Traits

A fluffy tail! Usually small, but can be a big fluffball as well. Deer tails also fall under Cottontail.
Must have fur, as a feathered puffball tail is Plume Puff.

Examples: Twelve Drummers Drumming, Honduran White Rabbit

Feathered Wings (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Wing Traits

Often listed as "Big wings", "Wings", "Small wings" and similar
The default wings for B-NOMALY are feathered. Cannot sustain flight, but can often glide if large enough. Fluffy!
Custom, MYO, Bred, and other undesigned B-NOMALIES do not have to have this trait listed to have wings - it's considered a free trait as long as the wings are feathered!

Examples: Six Geese a-Laying, Seven Swans a-Swimming

Angora (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Modifier

Extremely fluffy fur all over the B-NOMALY! An incredibly common trait.

Examples: Blue Moonstone, Frozen Traveler

Tailless (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Tail Traits

There's just no tail. Can have a tiny nub at most.

Examples: Arachnofluff, Magpie (ref, because the ML didn't show tail nub)

Godkiller Face (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Face and Beak traits

Face modifier - if this appears without a non-modifier face trait in a bred bun (or other RNG trait list), feel free to choose any common-uncommon face trait to use for your design!

Godkiller Face is a mandatory trait for KETU-NOMALIES.

Godkiller Face lengthens the face into a muzzle (Muzzle Face added on lengthens this further), adds tusks similar to a Standard Ketucari on the top jaw, and causes the beak and muzzle nostrils to double - both the beak and the muzzle have two pairs of nostrils unless modified further by Triple Snooter.

HYBRID EXCLUSIVE: Godkiller traits are restricted to KETU-NOMALIES made through the veluchasm event or as a companion in Ketucari. They are not available through Chasmhome MYOs, trait swaps, or fogshard tokens, though they can appear through breeding.

Examples:

Godkiller Hands (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Limb Traits

Godkiller Face is a mandatory trait for KETU-NOMALIES.

Godkiller Hands are paws with four fingers and a thumb. They have claws and pawpads, and the thumb claw is a large "kill claw", like a velociraptor's hind legs. This mimics the front paws of a Standard Ketucari.

HYBRID EXCLUSIVE: Godkiller traits are restricted to KETU-NOMALIES made through the veluchasm event or as a companion in Ketucari. They are not available through Chasmhome MYOs, trait swaps, or fogshard tokens, though they can appear through breeding.

Examples:

Feather Duster (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Tail traits

Tail modifier: SPECIFIC - if this appears without a non-modifier tail trait in a bred bun (or other RNG trait list), feel free to choose any FEATHERED tail trait, and Long Tail to use for your design!

Feather Duster is a mandatory trait for KETU-NOMALIES.

Feather Duster is a tail modifier specifically for Long Tail. It allows feathered B-CLASS tail traits, such as Feathered, Gallus, and Plume Puff, to be placed at the end of Long Tail to create a long tail with a feathered plume at the end. Both Long Tail and the feather-type tail should be listed in the traits, as well as Feather Duster itself. You do not need Multi Tail to utilize Feather Duster's double tail.

Examples:

Bun Back Legs (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Limb Traits

Hop, hop.
Typically plantigrade (though can be hare legs), and usually lacks pawpads.

Examples: Pastel Bandit

Bird Front Legs (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Limb Traits

Good for grabbing! Any kind of bird legs located on the front limbs. Can show both scutes and feathers, or noticeable feathers along the entire legs (like a house martin, for example) - either type of bird limb should have grasping fingers and claws.

Examples: Steele, S-OLSTICE 07: Seven Swans A Swimming

Lop Ears (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Ear Traits

Flop.
Must have fur - or a lack of fur/feathers altogether. Feathered Lop ears are a different trait altogether.

Examples: Steele

Classic Face (Common)

Category: B-NOMALY
Species: B-NOMALY

B-NOMALY Trait:

B-CLASS: Face and Beak traits

Refers to the shape of the beak - typically slender, straight, and medium-sized, like generalist and insectivore birds, but variable enough to suit minor differences - a duck's beak could be a classic face, for instance.

Examples: Grade B-NOM Eggs #6, Egg 1/2 - Geese A-Laying's Hatchlings
