Rooted

The Rooted is actually incredibly docile for a Couloir Gigafauna, and made of fungi instead of true plant matter at that. Where it has major differences there, it still has some familiarities, especially in that the Rooter mimic is an enormous pest. The creature tends to snuffle around the Chasm cluelessly in search of a new environment after leaving the Couloir, tracking long, loose trails of mycelium everywhere in the tunnels there and wherever it winds up. It has the same tunneling propensity as a regular rooter, the fungus on the tip of its snout and along its back hardened, giving it a horn and shell, letting it root around and take loads of punishment from whoever usually lives on the territory it's digging up before it even notices someone was perturbed. The Rooted genuinely might not even fight back, choosing to remain a large pest that can make area hazards. It does not care.

Use:

• Companion! Can be equipped to a Rixixi and grant that Rixixi its ability. Companions can be equipped, unequipped, and moved between Rixixi at will with no ill effect.
• LEGENDARY Companion: A Rixixi may only have one Legendary Companion at a time.

Companion Ability:

Rooted: In a legendary hunt, If the Rixixi this Legendary Companion is attached to, or anyone else in their party, has ANY AMOUNT of Rooter familiars - any Grand Old Rooter, Rooter, or Mini Rooter, or any familiar that can be swapped in for them in the Keeping the Herd Together Legendary Ability - all Rooters of any type count as Rixixi when lowering a Legendary Hunting failure chance, and they count towards the final stat pool (Grand Old Rooters and their cousins have 250/350/200/100, Rooters and their cousins have 100/150/100/50, and Mini Rooters and their cousins have 50/50/50/50). The Rooted matches its stats to a Grand Old Rooter.
