You make your way into the brightly-colored crack in reality, making sure to focus so that it doesn’t immediately whisk you away somewhere else. Inside, you find a steep, slick drop, the walls and floor like a crystalline mirror reflecting color back and forth infinitely. You find it hard to avoid slipping as you proceed down, the area becoming darker and darker as you do.
By the time you enter complete darkness, you slip, sliding on the slick crystal floor for a moment before falling into a complete dead drop. You feel your heart catch in your throat, thinking you’ll fall and break your legs, your spine, something more, but in this chasm within the chasm you can see further, and you can see forever. Creatures fly past you, eldritch and huge, clearly at home here, and you even see the occasional person falling in this endless pit.
And then it stops. You’re hovering in a colorful nebula. An eye opens like a sun rising from the folds of the spacedust around you, and ten thousand voices speak from the space around you.
