Mumbler

Something caused by a Couloir species growing up in the Chasm. The growing mass became covered in snares and began sputtering colorpitch, shaping into a new form that floats slowly through the tunnels of the Chasm using an odd organ filled with chemicals, the roots of its body forming around it. This creature is alien and strange, like a Mymber but massive, the thing passively passing by like a cloud with teeth, the snares sniffing around for something to snatch up.

Use:

Companion! Can be equipped to a Rixixi and grant that Rixixi its ability. Companions can be equipped, unequipped, and moved between Rixixi at will with no ill effect.
LEGENDARY Companion: A Rixixi may only have one Legendary Companion at a time.

Companion Ability:

Mumbler: The Mumbler has a modified Mymber ability and so counts as a Mymber for things like Mymber Tome and Mymber Cartography Kit.

If Chasmjumping with a Rixixi with this companion equipped, the player can request Teleportation, Danger, or Eyeseeking*, and the Mymber will attempt to lead the Rixixi to one of the Chasmjumping rolls in the selected category - 25% success rate!
However, the Mumbler weights the roll more to specific outcomes. The Mumbler adds 2 additional chances to roll Danger - one added to Facedown and one added to Prepare For War. If Teleportation is rolled, the Mumbler adds 1 additional chance to roll Couloir. The Mumbler following your stated request can override this, and this boosted chance to the Mumbler's choice takes place when your choice roll fails.

A Mumbler can also, if equipped to a radiation sick Rixixi, nullify the effects of one of the Radiation Sicknesses so long as the Mumbler stays equipped! (Please specify which radiation sickness will be nullified when applying companion)

Chasm Companion - Immune to Zoonotic radiation sickness types!

*Teleporation includes Pathway, Parsec, and Liminal.
Danger includes Altercation, Facedown, AlternateFatality, and Prepare For War.
Eyeseeking includes Euphoria and Event Horizon.

Legendary Companion Second Ability:

Mumbler: Pitch Perfect: Due to generating the stuff, the Rixixi this companion is attached to is guaranteed to roll Colorpitch in explorations in the Chasm. (Explorations in the Chasm get 1 bonus roll not tied to the main roll, rolls Colorpitch based off the Rixixi's stats.)
