They're really best described as "a dragon". They hoard shiny things--gold is their favorite--and favor skulking about near Earth villages harrassing their sheep. They occassionally "kidnap" Princesses and Princes and hold them captive for a time, releasing them when their parents send out knights to retrieve them.
