A friendly and outgoing rixixi with a short fuse. Merek is highly amicable and reads like an open book. Incredibly supportive of his friends and their efforts. He is patient and respectful, but takes no shit. Is very prone to snark and playful banter.
He makes ice cream and other sweets in a cafe on Nskanetis, as well as coffee.
He has been missing for some years, having fallen into the Chasm on a trip for supplies in the Fogshard Mines. He's come back quieter, more haunted. Warier of the world as a whole and painfully sensitive to the Chasm and its energies.
Is terrified of fast moving water, cold water, and the ocean.
