You tear into the creature, fighting it back! Out of the corner of your eye, you can see one of the recruits shoving a beast aside, flipping it over. Looks like you've got likeminded company. After a bit of tussle, the beasts decide this route is too dangerous, and leave you and the recruits be, running back the way they came.
The recruit that was fighting alongside you gives you a wave. "Hey, you fight well. I suppose you're from the factions? I'm sorry we're late, we got turned around down here. It's just a mess of tunnels. Can we follow you back?"
