Jin could think up no answers socially appropriate for the excited scattering. He took a deep breath, attempting to ignore his awkwardness as long as possible- and began speaking: "My earliest- I remember- um, no," he inhaled again, brows furrowing in concentration, "I don't know. My first memory was- my- I was in pain, I think. I was- I was stuck- yeah. I don't know- don't- not sure *where*, but I was."
He shrugged sheepishly, grimacing. "I was stuck somewhere. Somewhere virtual. I don't know. But I killed a lot of animals. I needed- had- was forced to, I think. Um. Those were- that was- I started hunting back then. I really don't anymore." He faintly recalled what he'd later realized to be an aex. Their appearance was lost to time now.
"Sorry. That's- it's a bit dark." He ruffled his mane anxiously. "The questions were- it was- augh, it was a bit personal, is all. Sorry."
